Accessibility and Universal Access
Our website is continuously tested across the most popular browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Netscape, Opera) and across operating systems (Windows, OS X, Linux), as well as with the W3C Markup Validation Service (http://validator.w3.org/) and an online colourblind web page filter (http://colorfilter.wickline.org/). Clearly displayed at the top of every page are 'AAA' resize and 'text only' buttons. In addition, please be aware that the majority of web browsers can resize text using their inbuilt menus, and that the Opera Browser is able to meet an even great range of visual requirements. For further information on accessibility in general see the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Accessibility Initiative pages (http://www.w3.org/WAI/). You may also be interested in My Web My Way at the BBC, which contains useful help and advice for accessibility and universal access across computer platforms. If, however, there are any ways in which we personally can enhance your web experience, please do not hesitate to contact us. Your advice is invaluable. |
