A one-day conference on the work of Peter Riley, jointly held by Birkbeck College and Royal Holloway on Saturday 14 January 2012.

The conference aims to broaden scholarly research into Riley's writing, which crosses over many different disciplines and fields of knowledge. We would encourage papers on any aspect of Peter's work, which might include responses to: individual collections or poems, its relationship to innovative poetic practice, 'the Cambridge school', translation, music, his work as an editor, publisher and commentator. Please direct queries to peterrileyconference@yahoo.co.uk

Conference proceedings to be published in Contemporary Writers: Critical Essays (Book Series). Series Editor: Sarah Dillon. http://www.gylphi.co.uk/criticalessays/index.php
